Minas, Camagüey, July 18 – The Communal Services Base Business Unit (UEB, for its acronym in Spanish) in the territory was recognized nationally and is the most outstanding in the province thanks to the efficiency in fulfilling the social object.
In commemoration of the 72nd anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks, workers in the sector are contributing to improving the image and quality of several of its facilities, with priority given to obituary services, including funeral homes.
According to Alexis Gutiérrez Gallardo, director of the UEB, in both facilities of this type, details on the walls and sanitary structures were corrected, the buildings were repainted, and beautification work was also carried out on the region's cemeteries.
The director also explained the preparation of land for flower planting and the inclusion of food production through various crops for the workers' own consumption within the entity's activities.
Gutiérrez Gallardo emphasized the company's support for other social projects in the municipality, such as the decoration of the November 26th Revolution Square and debris removal, with the goal of presenting a city worthy of Camagüey's commemoration of National Rebellion Day.
